HEALTH AND SECURITY POLICY
The basic principle on which our Health and Security policy is based is:
Attention to people and the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, through continuous and sustainable improvement of the management of health and safety in the workplace while maintaining a fair balance between social, environmental and economic responsibility
ILTAR-ITALBOX, with the aim of translating this principle at a management level, it implements and maintains at all levels of its organization a specific Health and Safety Management System compliant with the ISO 45001: 2018 standard with the aim of:
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations in force and other voluntary requirements signed and related to health and safety in the workplace.
- Protect Workers by eliminating dangers and reducing risks to Health and Safety.
- Know and understand the context in which the company operates and the relevant internal and external factors.
- Implement the programs necessary to manage the risks and opportunities associated with its activities.
- Increase staff awareness in identifying, controlling and reducing risks by promoting a safety culture.
- Implement internal and external communication actions aimed at ensuring consultation and participation of workers and the appropriate involvement of the various interested parties.
- Monitor and improve their health and safety performance in line with the set objectives.
ILTAR-ITALBOX based on the analysis and assessment of its own risks, it has also identified specific areas of intervention (objectives), on which to focus attention with specific programs that specifically aim at:
- Reduction of risks related to Infrastructures / Plants / Machines / Equipment;
- In-depth study of monitoring activities to support risk assessments;
- Prevention of accidents and injuries through the involvement of workers, the monitoring of dedicated indicators and the definition of improvement targets.
ILTAR-ITALBOX undertakes to guarantee the necessary resources to apply the Health and Safety Management System effectively and efficiently, promoting interventions aimed at sensitizing and involving all the Personnel and external interested parties in order to achieve the set objectives.
